I design prints, embroideries, and embellishments aligned with seasonal direction, and oversee the approval of lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk submits to ensure consistency in color and quality. Additionally, I maintain an organized print and color archive, a $65,000 budget and ensure all product details are accurately recorded and tracked within the PLM system.

Macy’s 2013-2016
Promoted from Administrative Assistant to Trend and Print Design Director, I led initiatives focused on creating customer-centric prints through in-depth research of market trends, print direction, and color forecasting. I analyzed design choices to minimize fabric waste and increase profitability, while also addressing manufacturing challenges and reviewing lab dips and bulk submits to ensure quality and consistency. I collaborated effectively with design and product teams, as well as overseas manufacturers, to streamline communication and execution. I merchandised color stories to present a cohesive and balanced product assortment, managed a seasonal budget exceeding $100,000, and restructured fund allocation for greater efficiency. Additionally, I created original prints, colorways, and repeats to support seasonal brand direction.
